Break (an article, for the publication, O. A. U)

Hey there!
Am I permitted to say WELCOME back at this moment. It's not too late I guess, it's our first meeting... On this platform, probably. How was the break? Where was your break? What was your break like? You had a break? I mean a break! Break!! Break!!!
Do you know that officially, the break is ended? Do you know that another break is on? Really, seriously, I mean you are on break, now, even this moment. You don't think I'm right. Do you? Its not that weird, let me give a simple thing you might want to know, I won't waste time. Let's go this way.
BREAK: ...to interrupt one's activity or occupation for a brief period.
Synonyms: Pause, Interruption, Lull, Breather, Recess (Merriam-Webster Dictionary, 2015Edition).
For the purpose of this discussion, let us have the synonym "PAUSE" in mind. I'm safe to say then that break (in this context) is a pause from what you were doing for something else (Opposite in most cases).
It is because we've been in school and got stuck with events of the Academia that we go on break and relax in many ways. (#vacation). In the same vein, you are almost sure that a temporary pause from playing to work is also a break as is a temporary pause from work to play. Did you get? I mean...
A wise man once told me "when you sleep for longer hours, you sometimes get tired and the best way out of the weariness is to get up and get something doing which might include walking = work done. That is a form of rest, break! You'll agree with me if I say that Eating equates break from starving, fasting or hunger strike and so we have "breakfast". And you'll also agree that Reading is break from playing as Movies is break from lecture week. Think of other examples with the meaning of "break" in mind. And hope you won't laugh at my conclusion that I've been able to convince and not to confuse you ***winks*** that break is pause/discontinue from anything to do another thing. There! So I say eventually "WELCOME TO BREAK FROM BREAK".
But splendidly, now that vacation is done, are you really ready for the "beak", have you started, are you ready to start "work"? Provided you've "dropped the books and laced the boots", don't you think its time "change to shoe and embrace the book" and when you run, its to lecture rooms. You know, early starters are early risers and see a man diligent in his works, he shall stand before kings and not mere 'students' and also that there is time for every thing, time to 'break' and time to 'read'.
Above all, the fact that no fellowship at home might have giving you break from church activities one way or another. Why don't you resume in that sense, I've never seen the righteous forsaken. Yea, Academics comes first but there is one who can guarantee a life after school, why don't you invest in HIS business, the Kingdom Business. If you don't have a fixed fellowship, go for the word, you don't belong to the work force? Get involved, if you've not been serious with it, start seeing it as an investment, its coming back to you. Labour to enter into the rest. All I have for you (not 'all') today is "How was your break" and "Enjoy the rest of your stay on campus, this session, this semester, this month, this week and this day.  TE AMO!

                                                                 ...Godlidified.
